This is a very important topic—my fics, and the fics of several of my friends and authors I hold in high esteem, have been stolen, translated into Russian, and reposted. I was not asked for permission to have this done. seasidh was not asked. That means that our fics, at the very least, were stolen. Just because it's fanfiction, that doesn't mean that they are not covered by copyright laws. They are.

There's not much I can do, but seasidh is doing everything in her power to contact these people (they've made it difficult enough) and put a stop to this. If you or someone you know speaks Russian, please send them to this page and help us out.

For the record, I'm not some elitist bitch that thinks she owns the entire fandom. I can't help it if I like to involve myself by writing fics and making/co-making/modding/co-modding communities to help others write fics, nor am I going to stop myself from commenting on threads in those communities, or in any other for that matter, when I have something to say. Especially considering I am never anything but mature and objective when saying anything that might be considered 'negative' by others.

For the record, I'm not some elitist grammar whore that thinks people that have trouble writing shouldn't write at all. Nor do I find it hypocritical to tell someone to use a beta when I myself do not use one. Needs are needs and I call them like I see them.

For the record, I do not like having my person publicly mocked or harrassed, nor do I like having words put in my mouth or untruthful allegations made against me. I won't do it to you. Why, when you don't even know me, would you do that to me?

For the record, I will always be civil to you in public and I will always carry out personal quarrels with you in private. I will not spam you or anyone you know with pointless bitching about your person. I will not treat you like a child in public unless you have turned mature, objective discussions into something no longer worth carrying out. I will email you if I have a problem with you. I expect you to do the same with me.

The characterizations and development are so realistic and believable. You feel everything that each character feels, and the author successfully lends sympathy to even the most vile of characters. It's brought tears to my eyes more than once, and now that it's completed, you should all take time out of your life to read it as well. Whether you're into MCR at all, or whether the warnings fall under something that isn't "your thing," I really suggest reading this. You won't regret it.

Now, what about this makes it difficult to reach the conclusion that I'm not currently adding friends? And yet I've had three people add me in the past two days alone. I've had multiple people add me in the past three months with absolutely no comment of any kind, no email, nothing.

-Seeing Emma, Shimon and Mark (Sick Puppies) walk out the doors next to us and hearing a passing, 'Hi!' from Shimon.
-Getting in second even though we're Will-Call and supposed to wait longer (thanks to Jason :D)
-Getting barricade.
-Keeping barricade.
-All the bands being awesome.
-Catching Leo's drumstick one handed without dropping it, and keeping it.
-Getting so many videos and pics of Leo (will upload later).
-SINGING ALONG TO EVERY GODDAMN SONG SICK PUPPIES PLAYED.
-Getting into the signing line after the show and getting a fucking signed drum skin to go with my successfully caught stick.
-Getting photos and hugs with Leo.
-Getting a hug from Shimon and getting berated for Brianna stealing his pics off from his guitar (LMAO).
-Giving the drumstick to Jamie since I had the skin, and going back to Leo's table for her to get it signed.
-Getting more hugs from Leo and getting a high-five from Ian (leaving him hanging, then trying again) and a free CD ($10/ea., but I bought one and he gave another to Jamie; "Two for ten deal, just ended now.")
-Talking with Leo for almost ten minutes afterwards.
-Squeeing about it on the ride home with failing voices and hearing.
-Squeeing about it to __oddly XDXD

KJhrkjgh. I just woke up a few minutes ago. This is me not wanting to go outside to shovel. And technically, I can't yet, because snow is still falling off the roof and my dad seems to think that if I get struck by it, I'll be crushed. Which, honestly, could happen, because that shit falls fast and heavy. And I haven't eaten breakfast yet, so the likelihood of me going out there and not passing out within the first five minutes—or feeling like I'm going to in the same—is a little too high for comfort. So I'm going to wait on breakfast until 9:30, so I can hang out with peoples online, like Jeeney, before she goes to work, and anyone else that happens to be online at the time. Then at ten, I'll try for shovelling. *prods the snow*

Wow. It was something like 8:40 when I started writing this entry, and save one interruption from my dad that lasted less than a few minutes, I didn't stop. Now it's 9:18, and I'm ready to go get breakfast.
